Project overview

The rooftop illuminated letter project of Wanyue City — designed and supplied by Beaulighting. The installation combines LED linear modules inside the letter shells (DC12V/24V), with halo back-lighting on select characters and downlights washing the mounting wall. Uniform face illumination was the client's top requirement: each letter shell was measured and the module pitch calculated so there are no hot spots or grey bands, even on characters with deep returns.

Lighting approach

The system runs on low-voltage DC with distributed power supplies, so a single driver fault cannot black out the whole sign — maintenance is a module swap, not a crane hire.

• Fixtures: Led linear modules inside the letter shells (dc12v/24v), all IP65+ for outdoor exposure.
• Control: scheduled on/off with scene presets — no on-site operator needed.
• Electrical: low-voltage DC runs with distributed, weatherproof drivers.
• Service life: backed by the Beaulighting 5-year warranty on the full outdoor range.
